مخفف بعضی ازکلمات انگلیسی که دراس ام اس به کار میرود

"by osmosis" یعنی یاد گرفتن چیزی با شنیدن مکرر آن.مثلا:

Children learn new languages by osmosis

نکته ۷:

Cram for : این یکی باحال تره ، حتما شنیدین که میگن "من شب امتحان فقط می خوندم" .این اصطلاح هم یعنی حجم زیادی از درس رو ضربتی و فشرده قبل از امتحان خوندن(البته نه الزاما شب قبل امتحان)

I have to cram for my math exam tomorrow

نکته ۸:

Ok. Dinner’s ready. Dig in

Dig in! یعنی بزن تو رگ یا بزن به بدن

نکته ۹:

A: r u gonna invite linda’s family

B: I don wanna invite Linda herself, let alone her family

نکته : "let alone" یعنی "چه برسه به (اینکه)

"من نمی خوام خود لیندا رو دعوت کنم چه برسه به خونواده اش."

نکته ۱۰:

؟Are you game

Yeah I’m game

حتما شنیدین که می گن "می خوایم فلان جا بریم یا فلان کار بکنیم...پایه ای؟" که تو این جمله ی اصطلاح "پایه بودن" دقیقا معادل با "be game".

مثال:

؟A: We’re going to go to the party tonight. Are you game

B: yeah I’m game

A: ما امشب خیال داریم بریم پارتی. پایه ای؟

B : آره داداش ! ما گیم هستیم یعنی پایه هستیم.

نکته ۱۱:

"this is the last thing I need" یعنی "فقط همین یکی رو کم داشتیم!

نکته ۱۲:

گاهی ممکنه شما پولی رو به کسی بدین (مثلا به کسی که بره براتون چیزی بخره یا به راننده تاکسی یا ...) و بقیه پول اضافه بیاد و شما بخواین که بهش بگین بقیه اش (پول) مال خودت تو این حالت از keep the change استفاده می کنین

نکته ۱۳:

A: I think she likes me

B: in your dreams!

in your dreams یعنی "به همین خیال باش" !

Past perfect continuous

We use the past perfect continuous to look back at a situation in progress.

It was a good time to invest. Inflation had been falling for several months.

Before I changed jobs, I had been working on a plan to reduce production costs.

We had been thinking about buying a new house but then we decided to stay here.

We use it to say what had been happening before something else happened.

It had been snowing for a while before we left.

We had been playing tennis for only a few minutes when it started raining.

He was out of breath when he arrived because he had been running.

We use it when reporting things said in the past.

She said she had been trying to call me all day.

They said they had been shopping.

I told you I had been looking for some new clothes

7 قانون در یادگیری اسان زبان

قانون اول : همیشه در پی یادگیری اصطلاحات (عبارات) باشید و نه تک لغت ها

هرگز کلمات را بصورت جداگانه و منفرد یادنگیرید هرگز . وقتی یک لغت جدید می بینید همیشه اصطلاحی( عبارت) را که این لغت جدید در آن به کاربرده شده است یادداشت کنید و وقتی می خواهید مرور کنید همیشه همان اصطلاحات (عبارات) را مطالعه کنید و نه کلمات را

اصطلاحات (عبارات) را گردآوری کنید مکالمه و گرامر زبان شما 4-5 برابر سریعتر بهبود می یابد باز تکرار می کنم هرگز هیچ تک لغت را در دفتریادداشت ننویسید و کلمات را نه بصورت تکی بلکه بصورت اصطلاحات(عبارات) یادداشت و مطالعه کنید

I left school when I was sixteen.
I was very happy then.
He told me all about his childhood.

We can use the past continuous to talk about past events which went on for a period of time.

I was thinking about him last night.
I was walking in the street when I suddenly fell over.

We can use the present perfect when we want to look back from the present to the past.

I've broken my watch so I don't know what time it is.
She hasn't arrived yet.
We've been to Singapore a lot over the last few years.
Have you ever been to Argentina?

The Present Perfect Continuous can be used to talk about an action or actions that started in the past and continued until recently or that continue into the future.

You look tired. Have you been sleeping properly?
I've been waiting for him for 30 minutes and he still hasn't arrived.
He's been phoning me all week for an answer.

We can use the past perfect simple to talk about what happened before a point in the past. It looks back from a point in the past to further in the past.

I hadn't known the bad news when I spoke to him.
I thought we had already decided on a name for this product.

We can use the past perfect continuous to look back at a situation in progress.

We had been thinking about buying a new house but then we decided to stay here.

چگونگی خواندن اعداد اعشاری در زبان

داستان کوتاه انگلیسی-پسرک بازیگوش

پیتر هشت سال و نیمش بود و به یک مدرسه در نزدیکی خونشون می‌رفت. او همیشه پیاده به آن جا می‌رفت و بر می‌گشت، و همیشه به موقع برمی‌گشت، اما جمعه‌ی قبل از مدرسه دیر به خانه آمد. مادرش در آشپزخانه بود،‌ و وقتی او (پیتر) را دید ازش پرسید «پیتر، چرا امروز دیر آمدی»؟

پیتر گفت: معلم عصبانی بود و بعد از درس مرا به پیش مدیر فرستاد.

مادرش گفت: پیش مدیر؟ چرا تو را پیش او فرستاد؟

پیتر گفت: برای اینکه او در کلاس یک سوال پرسید و هیچکس به غیر از من به سوال او جواب نداد.

مادرش عصبانی بود و از پیتر پرسید: در آن صورت چرا تو را پیش مدیر فرستاد؟ چرا بقیه‌ی بچه‌های احمق رو نفرستاد؟

پیتر گفت: برای اینکه سوالش این بود «چه کسی روی صندلی من چسب گذاشته؟»

I checked with the supplier and they still hadn't received the contract.
She had already told him before I got a chance to give him my version.
The company has started the year well but was badly hit by the postal strike.

The past perfect simple is often used when we report what people had said/thought/believed.

He told me they had already paid the bill.
He said he believed that John had moved to Italy.
I thought we had already decided on a name for this product

سریع ترین راه های یادگیری زبان انگلیسی

هدف: نخست باید دانست برای چه هدفی قصد دارید انگلیسی بیاموزید. آیا صحبت کردن برایتان مهم است یا خواندن و فهمیدن متن. یک توصیه راهگشا برایتان دارم سعی کنید.

مکالمه حفظ کنید: در اگر در ابتدای راه هستید یک کتاب مکالمه خوب انتخاب کنید و دیالوگ های آن را حفظ کنید و با دوستان از حفط این مکالمه را تمرین کنید. بعد از مدتی پا را از حفظ بیرون بگزارید و با لغات خودتان آن متن را به دوستتان توضیح دهید و یا آنرا خلاصه کنید. همه چیز گرامر نیست. در ابتدای راه دنیایی از گرامرهای سنگین را در ذهنتان بدون اینکه مورد استفاده قرار دهید انباشته نکنید. اندک اندک به هر بخشی که نیاز پیدا کردید همان بخش را بیاموزید و در صحبتتان از آن استفاده کنید.

هیچگاه صرفاً به حفظ لغات نپردازید: حفظ لغت های انگلیسی کاری دشوار و بسیار فرار می باشد. سعی کنید در داخل متون، لغت ها را به خاطر بسپارید. در این صورت لغات ماندگاری بیشتری در ذهن شما خواهد داشت.

داستانهای ساده شده را بخوانید و هر سطحی که برای شما مناسب است انتخاب نمایید، خواندن داستان مناسب و در حفظ لغات در متن بسیار کمک می کند.

یک روش جدید: من از این روش استفاده کرده ام بسیار مفید بوده است.

لغات مشکل را با تلفظ صحیح در یک دفترچه بنویسید(Writing)

و سپس در یک نوار، هم لغات و هم ترجمه ی آنها را بخوانید(Reading)

و همان کلمات را گوش کنید.(Listening)

استفاده از این سه روش بسیار به شما کمک خواهد کرد.من با این روش هزاران لغت تافل را در عرض چند روز حفظ کردم بسیار اعجاب انگیز بود. در این روش هم می نویسید هم می خوانید و هم گوش می دهید.

خوب گوش دهید: برای اینکه بتوانید صحبت کنید باید خوب گوش کنید و اگر می خواهید خوب بنویسید باید نگاه کنید و هجی کلمات را به خاطر بسپارید. این یک اصل می باشد. بگذارید تجربه خودم را برایتان بگویم. در ادامه و تکمیل زبان آموزی من متنهای کوتاه از سی ان ان را گوش می دادم و حفظ می کردم و با تمرین آن تکه را سریع تر از نوار از حفظ ترار می کردم. این کار موجب می شد تا من اخبار انگلیسی را به راحتی متوجه بشوم.

همبحث: با یک دوست خوب و همراه شفیق، گام های دشوار آسان می شود و طی مسیر برای انسان شیرین می گردد مخصوصا هنگام آموختن زبان انگلیسی. من در مسیر زبان آموزی دوستی پیدا کردم که هم سطح خودم، قصد زبان آموزی داشت با هم متن ها را حفظ می کردیم و آنها را از حفظ برای هم می خواندیم و گاهی پراگراف به پراگراف برای هم تشریح می کردیم یا خلاصه می کردیم به سرعت دیدم که جز بهترین دانش آموختگان شدم.

هر روز در گیر زبان انگلیسی باشید: هر روز زبان کار کنید. هفته ای یک جلسه آنهم برای کسی در ابتدای راه قرار دارد بی فاییده است. هر روز ، به مدت چند ماه، انگلیسی کار کنید تا وقتی که دز مسیر واقعی یاد گیری نیفتاده اید. این میزان وقت را کم نکنید.

Past simple or continuous

Both the past simple and the past continuous refer to completed actions in the past.

Most of the time when we are talking about such actions, we use the past simple. This is by far the most common way of talking about the past.

I lived there for 6 years.
I only found out a few moments ago.
I asked her but she didn't know anything.
The company made 100 people redundant last year.

Only use the past continuous when you want to emphasize the continuity of the action.

Everybody was talking about it all evening.
They were really trying hard but couldn't do it.
I was thinking about you the other day.
Were you expecting that to happen?

When we use these two forms in the same sentence, we use the past continuous to talk about the "background action" and the past simple to talk about the shorter completed action.

It was raining hard when we left the building.
I was reading the report when you rang.
He was going out to lunch when I saw him.
The company was doing well when I last visited it.
